Tiles Care

To ensure the longevity and beauty of your DBL Ceramics tiles, proper care and maintenance are essential. By following these simple steps, you can keep your tiles looking spotless for years to come.

ROUTINE CARE

Remove Dirt Promptly: Always clean up dirt, dust, or spills as soon as possible. Use a mixture of water and surface/floor cleaner liquid or mild detergent to wipe the affected area.

Cleaning of Glazed/Polished Tiles: Use a damp mop or sponge along with a household cleaner that is not oil-based and has low Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC).
For wall tiles in residential baths and showers, you can opt for an all-purpose cleaner that removes soap scum, hard water deposits, and mildew.
Use a cotton mop, cloth, sponge, or non-metallic brush to apply and agitate the cleaner, then rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry the surface.

Cleaning Unglazed Tiles: For unglazed tiles, use a mild detergent or surface/floor cleaner liquid or a neutral pH-based cleaning agent. These cleaners are safe and effective for removing grease, oils, and other typical spills.
As with glazed tiles, rinse with clean water and dry thoroughly.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Never use waxes, oil-based cleaners, ammonia, bleach, or acidic products for routine maintenance, as these can damage both the tile surface and the grout.
Abrasive cleaning products such as steel wool or scouring pads should also be avoided to prevent scratches and surface damage.

Use the Right Tools: For cleaning, always use soft materials such as a cotton mop, soft cloth, or non-abrasive sponge.
Dust mopping, sweeping, or vacuuming regularly before applying liquid cleaners will help maintain the appearance and performance of your tiles.

SPECIAL CARE FOR GROUT

Grout is an integral part of your tile installation, filling the joints between tiles. To preserve its appearance and functionality: Seal grout regularly to prevent stains and damage. Grout tends to darken over time, and sealing helps protect it from spills and moisture.

Grout Staining: If your grout has discolored over time, grout stain products can help restore its original color.
