With this method, the scratches will get even lighter if not removed completely. That means this is an effective method for removing heavy scratches from ceramic tiles too.

Cleaning needs: Oxalic acid, sponge

Step 1: Get rid of dust, dirt, and debris first. Once you get the tiles properly cleaned, take a small amount of oxalic acid on the sponge. Then, rub it on the scratches.

Step 2: Wipe the cleaner with a rug to check the remaining scratches. If scratches are still easily visible, repeat the process.

Method 5: Use wax to cover scratches

You can repair ceramic tile scratches using wax. This is an effective way to remove metal scratches from tiles. Even if you want to make cover deep scrapes on ceramic tiles, this solution is for you. You will get wax in departmental stores or tile and ceramic care shops.

Cleaning needs: Wax, Small Tapping knife, Clean rags

Step 1: Clean the tiles thoroughly. Identify the big scratches on ceramic tiles, and apply the wax-like chalk through the scratches. Make sure the crack is completely filled with wax.

Step 2: Use a small tapping blade to even out the surface. However, don't use too much force. Just handle it with a soft hand and run it over the space you've just covered.

Otherwise, the blade can scratch the tiles, leaving it frustrated for the rest of the day. Also, if you run the blade with strong pressure, it can make the wax lose.

Method 6: Baking soda paste to remove deep scratches

This is another way to remove metal scratches from tiles. Besides, this is applicable for fading scratches.

We already described one method with baking soda, but that's a dry application.

Cleaning needs: Baking soda paste, Soft-bristle brush

Step 1: Clean the area you're about to fix. Make some baking soda paste with a little water. Then, apply it directly on the visible metal scratches.

Method 8: Remove scuff marks with an eraser
